MIOG-NP took part in the KUCCPS National Career Conference and Exhibition 2026, a major national event focused on helping learners make informed career choices. The conference took place at the Kenya International Convention Centre (KICC) from 27th to 29th January 2026.
The event brought together universities, training institutions, government agencies, and education stakeholders from across the country. As a result, it created a strong platform for guiding learners as they transition from secondary education to higher education and skills training.
Strategic Outreach and Student Recruitment
Participation in the 3-day conference formed part of MIOG-NP’s outreach and student recruitment strategy. In addition, the timing of the event was especially important. It allowed the institution to showcase its programs ahead of the KUCCPS main enrollment window. By doing so, MIOG-NP engaged learners and supported informed decision-making at a critical stage of the application process.
Throughout the three-day event, the MIOG-NP team engaged directly with prospective students and parents at the exhibition stand. MIOG-NP team provided clear and practical information on available programs, admission requirements, and training approaches. They also explained expected learning outcomes and progression opportunities after completion.
Moreover, the team offered guidance on career options linked to technical and professional training. They highlighted the value of skills-based education in today’s changing labour market. As a result, many learners gained a better understanding of how training choices connect to real career opportunities.
The conference also created opportunities to engage with education partners and other key stakeholders. Through these interactions, MIOG-NP strengthened its visibility within the national higher education and skills training landscape. At the same time, the institution reinforced its position as a provider of market-driven and learner-focused training.
Overall, participation in the KUCCPS National Career Conference and Exhibition 2026 supported recruitment efforts and expanded awareness of MIOG-NP’s programs. Most importantly, it ensured that prospective learners were well informed before the KUCCPS enrollment window opened. The engagement reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to accessible, relevant, and quality education.
