MIOG-NP in partnership with The Boma International Hospitality College and with the support of the Tourism Fund, will host the graduation ceremony for trainees of the Tourism Fund Upskilling Programme drawn from Nakuru and Narok Counties.
This national initiative equips Kenyan youth and tourism sector practitioners with practical, industry-relevant skills that enhance employability, improve service standards and strengthen the country’s tourism workforce. The current cohort has successfully completed intensive skills training in courses such as event management, barista, food service, food production, front office, house keeping, mixology, baking technology and service (food & beverage) designed to prepare them for opportunities within the hospitality and tourism sector.
The ceremony will celebrate the achievements of the graduands and highlight the importance of collaboration between industry, training institutions and government in developing a skilled workforce that supports national economic growth.
