Backed by a highly trained workforce, the consultancy arm is designed to offer specialized services across the petroleum value chain, from pipeline design to refinery operations, while promoting innovation, local content, and capacity building. The company’s staff brings deep experience in the construction, operation, and maintenance of oil pipeline infrastructure, positioning MIOG as a key knowledge hub in the region.

Capacity building at Energy Regulators of East Africa in Arusha, Tanzania

 

In September 2023, the Morendat Institute of Oil & Gas conducted a specialized training in Arusha, Tanzania, for EREA and ERCE, focusing on petroleum pipeline construction, operation, and regulation. The program aimed to enhance technical capacity and strengthen regulatory frameworks in the East African energy sector.

In November 2024, KPC engineers conducted training for KIVU Petrole staff to enhance operational excellence and safety standards.

In 2023, Morendat and KENGEN signed a three-year contract (2024/25-2026/27) to carry out Health and Safety Audits and Risk Assessments of all KENGEN Stations and to build safety capacity for KENGEN staff.
