Morendat Safety and Fire Training Centre, Eldoret: Forging Frontline Readiness in Fire and Safety

The Centre is shaping a new generation of professionals ready to take on some of the most demanding roles in the oil and gas industry. The purpose-built campus specializes in firefighting, emergency response, and industrial safety. It is located along Mitaa road off the Eldoret-Busia Road, within the Kenya Pipeline depot. 

Students train using complete sets of personal protective equipment (PPE), mirroring the conditions of high-risk field operations.  

Key Features: 

  • Live Firefighting Propsthat simulate real-world emergencies. Simulates situations such as car fires, gas leaks, and industrial blazes using propane in a safe, controlled environment. 
  • A Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Filling Station – used for high-risk rescue and industrial safety drills. 
  • Comprehensive firefighting and personal protective equipment (PPEs) for training.  

The campus not only prioritizes safety but also offers a range of industry-relevant programs.
